SANA MAHMOOD

ORLANDO: Body of two-year-old Lane Graves was recovered today (Thursday) from a lake sixteen hours after an alligator  attacked  and dragged him into the Disney World Resort lagoon  outside Grand Floridian hotel.

As soon as the (4 to 7 feet) alligator attacked 2-year-old Lane Graves his father jumped into the water and wrestled in vain to rescue the child. The alligator disappeared back into the water with toddler in its jaws.

For sixteen hours a search helicopter, marine units on boats, an alligator trapper, ten-person diving team from Orange County sheriff’s office along with fifty personnel searched for the boy classifying it as a rescue operation till they found the body.

Meanwhile, out of caution, all the beaches in the resort have been closed until animal’s capture confirmed. Wildlife officials here have spotted and killed four alligators during frantic overnight search but the attacking gator was not amongst them.

The deceased boy Lane Graves from Nebraska was on holiday with his parents (in their thirties) and two siblings.

Experts contacted by NewsPaksitan.TV told that such attack was almost non-existent.
