ISLAMABAD: Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination Dr. Fehmida Mirza along with delegation Wednesday arrived in Beijing to attend Forum on Cooperation between China and Pakistan Friendship Provinces and Cities.
During her three days official visit March 27-30, the minister would address the opening ceremony of the forum on March, said a press release.
Chief Minister Giligit-Baltistan Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman and the other members of the delegation would also share their views at the forum.
In 2018, during the state visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to China, both countries announced a joint statement to celebrate China-Pakistan Year of Friendship/Sister Cities 2019.
In order to implement the consensus reached by the leaders and to further promote China-Pakistan local governments exchange and cooperation, the forum on cooperation between both countries Friendship Provinces and Cities will be held on March 28.
It will be co-hosted by Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Beijing.
