FIA team to trace Heli-Crash campaigners

ISLAMABAD: FIA on Sunday (7th of August, 2022) has constituted a team to unearth and nab the 1st August, 2022 Lasbela heli-crash campaigners who resorted to ridicule the martyrs by means of Social Media platform. 

ISPR, calling the derogatory comments on Social Media hurtful, held that the campaign by certain insensitive quarters was unacceptable and highly condemnable.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took to the twitter to state: “The social media campaign belittling & ridiculing the sacrifices of our martyrs was horrifying. This is what self-righteous political narratives do: they poison the minds of the youth & weaponize hate speech. Which way are we headed?”

According to details the investigating team that will be headed by Mohammad Jaffar ADG Cyber Crime Wing of FIA, will also harbor Waqaruddin Saeed Director (Cyber Crime, North) and Imran Haider Additional Director.
