Five more die in Thar, death toll hits 26 in 40 days

MITHI: At least five more people died of preventable diseases in Thar, as the death toll rose in the desert rose to over 26 this month.

Most of the dead include babies.

Innocent children and people of Tharparkar paying the price of the carelessness of government authorities of Sindh. Malnutrition, lack of healthcare facilities and scarcity of water are some factors pushing the death toll higher.
