Five sites identified for ‘Naya Pakistan Housing Programme’

FAISALABAD: The district housing committee has identified state land at five sites near the city for launching the proposed ‘Naya Pakistan Housing Programme’ in the city.

Draft of the proposed sites will be sent to Punjab government after reviewing it thoroughly, said Chairman Housing Committee/Deputy Commissioner Sardar Saifullah Dogar while presiding over a meeting of district housing committee here.

According to details, 264 acres of land have been identified in Chak No.77-RB near UET campus Khurarianwala Bypass, 176 acres land in Chak No.193-RB and Chak No.266-RB in front of Wapda City on Canal Express Way, 88 acres land in Chak No.118-JB near M-4 Motorway behind FDA City, 214 acres land in Chak No.190-RB near Sultan Nagar Jhumra Road and 226 Kanal land in Chak No.73-JB Jhapal on Jhang Road.

Deputy Director Housing Muhammad Saeed, AC (Sadar) Nazia Mohal, Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Naeemullah Warraich, DD Town Planning Asif Niazi and other officers were present in the meeting.
