ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office (FO) has refuted the reports appearing in a section of Media that there had been a change in the policy regarding grant of visa to the residents of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJ&K).
FO stated that Pakistan High Commission continued to issue visas to residents of IoJK in accordance with the visa policy of the government and related bilateral agreements between Pakistan and India.

ISLAMABAD: Speaking on the occasion of Black Day, being observed all over the world to manifest solidarity with the populace of the Indian Occupied Kashmir, Prime Minister Imran Khan has stated here today that entire Pakistani nation, including minorities, stood behind the people of Kashmir in their just struggle for right to self-determination.
Imran Khan said he had highlighted the Kashmir issue in his speech at the United Nations and during interactions with other world leaders. According to him now the international community was aware of the oppression going on in Occupied Kashmir. He pointed out that Modi, after coming to power for second term, imposed curfew in Occupied Kashmir and no one was aware what was happening in the valley.
Imran Khan said Modi should hold a referendum if he wanted peace, stability, and development in Kashmir. Stating that mainstream political parties of Kashmir boycotted the recently held local government polls in Occupied Kashmir, PM Imran Khan pointed towards defeat that BJP met in the controlled elections.
Criticizing those who want to cross the Line of Control to go to Indian Occupied Kashmir he said anybody talking of crossing LoC would commit enmity with Kashmir and Pakistan. PM warned that India was looking for such an opportunity to crush the freedom struggle of Kashmiris. PM stated that the Modi government wanted to hold Pakistan responsible for unrest in Kashmir to draw away global attention from the atrocities being carried out in the valley.
Terming Kashmiris’ movement as apolitical struggle Imran Khan said Pakistan had to extend moral, diplomatic and political support in this regard. Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he was not only the Envoy of the people of Kashmir but their spokesperson and advocate supporting their struggle till they achieve their right to self-determination as enshrined in the UN Resolutions.
