KARACHI: Total liquid foreign reserves of the country stood at $ 16.713 billion, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said today.
According to a SBP’s weekly statement issued on Thursday, the foreign reserves held by the State Bank on August 10 amounted to dollars 10,152.6 million. The net foreign reserves with commercial banks were $ 6,560.2 million.
During the week ending August 10, SBP’s reserves decreased by $216 million to $10,153 million, due to external debt servicing and other official payments.
