  French Cultural Centre is the fabric of Karachi:  Andre de Bussy

KARACHI: French Embassy’s Counselor for Cooperation and Cultural Affairs Andre de Bussy has said that Alliance Française de Karachi (AFK) was the fabric of Metropolils.

He was speaking exclusively to Newspakistan.tv after opening an exhibition of fifty press cartoonists’ work from around the world titled ‘Drawing Freely’.

Talking about AFK he said that it was operating for the last six decades to propagate French culture, literature and language. He lauded the cooperation of  Pakistanis and told that the AFK Governing Committee consisted of local people and they felt that they were the fabric of the Metropolis.

Harboring on the theme of exhibition on freedom of expression embodied by fifty press cartoonists from all over the world, he said that it presented one of the features of the French culture.

He said that he was happy to be in Pakistan where his posting can last three to four years. The exhibition would be shown at Alliances around the world.

Exhibition will remain open till 14th of Feb 2017.
