French Envoy Martine Dorance anticipates CPEC will bring positive change in the region

QUETTA: Envoy of France to Pakistan Madame Martine Dorance has noted that China was investing enormously in the energy and communication sector of the mega CPEC project.

H.E. said this while expressing views here on Wednesday (Dec., 14th) during ongoing tour of Baluchistan along with Embassy’s Economic Department Head Philippe Fouet.

The Ambassador, pointing towards the mineral riches of Baluchistan maintained that improved security would draw investors there from France.

Harboring on the subject H.E. reiterated that French companies were interested in investing in various sectors in Pakistan including power, water treatment and transport.

Envoy Dorance told that (Agence Française Développement) AFD was involved here in green-energy field. The agency is providing technical know-how as well as resources for hydro-electricity and solar energy projects.
