Fully prepared to win against Sri Lanka in T20I: Sarfaraz

LAHORE: National cricket team captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has said that he was confident that Pakistan will win T20I series against Sri Lanka.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka will clash today in the first match of three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series at the historic Gaddafi Stadium here.

The greens shirts captain said that the boys were in form after winning the One-day International series in Karachi.

“T20 format is anyone’s game and they [Sri Lanka] will try to make the best combination to win the T20 series at our home ground and in front of our crowd,” he said, adding that despite winning ODI series, they cannot take the visiting team an easy opponent.

“We will try to enter the match with full preparation and try to give out our best to win the match as well as series,” the green shirts’ captain said.

The T20I clash between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will begin at 6:30 PM at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
