QUETTA: A large number of people including the provincial minister and officials offered funeral prayer of six martyred of Levies Force in Sanjavi area of Ziarat district today.
Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineer (PHE) Haji Noor Muhammad Dummer, Commandant Loralai Scouts Colonel Amir Mukhtiar, Commissioner Sibi division, Deputy Commissioner Ziarat, Levies officials, police officials, relatives of victims and other people attended the funeral prayers of martyred Levies forces in Sanjavi area.
The bodies of martyrdom were sent to their native for burial after offering funeral prayers. However, Levies Force’s personnel were on their duty at Levies Check Post Katai near Sanjavi when suspects attacked and opened fire at them, leaving six personnel martyred on the spot on late Tuesday night.
Shipping activity at Port Qasim
KARACHI: Six ships Helvetta One, SC Qing Dao, Cape Ann, Lusail, Argent lris and Shalamar carrying Soya Bean, Chemicals, LNG, palm and furnace oil were allotted berths at Grain Terminal, Engro Terminal, Elengy Terminal, Gasport Terminal, Liquid Terminal and FOTCO Terminal respectively on Sunday.
Meanwhile, three more ships named MSC Bilbao, Kiran America and Ginga Leopard carrying Containers, Coal, and Chemicals also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
A total of nine ships occupied berths at PQA to load/offload Containers, Coal, Soya Bean Seeds, Chemicals, LNG, Palm Oil, and furnace oil respectively, out of them, three ships LNG Golar Snow, CMA CGM Medea and Cape Male sailed out to sea on Monday morning and another ship Zealand Amsterdam is expected to sail on the same day in the afternoon.
A cargo volume of 129,084 tonnes, comprising 125,949 tonnes imports cargo and 3,135 tonnes export cargo, inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 236 containers (TEUs), (71 TEUs imports and 165 TEUs exports) was handled at the Port during last 24 house.
Four ships named MSC Bilbao, EL Babe, lleketa and Ginga Leopard carrying Containers, Coal and chemicals are expected to take berths at
QICT, MW-4, PQEPT, and EVTL respectively on Monday 10 June.
While two more container ships Maersk Columbus and APL Savanah are due to arrive at Port Qasim on Tuesday, 11 June-2019.
Two Hazara community tourists killed in Ziarat!
ZIARAT: Two tourists belonging to Quetta’s Hazara Community died and seven got injured in a bomb attack carried out here on Friday.
The injured were immediately taken to medical facilities in Quetta. The deceased were tourists who were visiting Ziarat for sightseeing.

An IED exploded at 8:30 am when FC personnel were fetching water from a stream. As a result, two soldiers (Sepoy Yar Muhammad, 23, of Kuch District in Sibi and Sepoy Mehtab Khan, 19, from Laki Marwat) lost their lives.
