KARACHI: Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology – FUUAST organized a rally to show support for the Muslims of Occupied Kashmir, at the Federal Urdu University Gulshan Iqbal Campus.
The speakers condemned the atrocities committed by the Indian armed forces.
In the rally, students and teachers raised slogans against the ongoing violations of human rights in Kashmir.
Kashmir Solidarity Day Rally was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Sadia Khalil and Lecturer Naila Rafiq.
While Acting Registrar Prof. Dr. Zarina Ali in her message on the occasion of Kashmir Day, stated:
“We stand with the Kashmiri Muslims in their struggle for their right to self-determination and their right to live in peace.”
Assistant Professor Dr. Sadia Khalil while addressing the students said: “Kashmir is the artery of Pakistan and the Indian forces are still oppressing Muslims in Occupied Kashmir.
“It is being subjected to repression.
“Human rights are continuously being violated and we will continue to struggle till the independence of Pakistani Kashmir”.
In the rally, a large number of teachers and students held up banners in support of Kashmiris, calling for an end to violence in Kashmir and protection of the rights of Kashmiri people.
The students participating in the rally chanted slogans: “Kashmir will become Pakistan, Long live Pakistan, Long live Pak Army”.
While the rally ended at the B.Sc block of the University.
کراچی: مقبوضہ کشمیر کے مسلمانوں کی حمایت کے اظہار میں، وفاقی اردو یونیورسٹی گلشن اقبال کیمپس میں یومِ یکجہتی کشمیر ریلی کا اہتمام کیا گیا جس میں بھارت کی مسلح افواج کی طرف سے کی جانے والی بربریت کی مذمت کی گئی۔
ریلی میں طلباءاوراساتذہ نے کشمیر میں جاری انسانی حقوق کی خلاف ورزیوں کے خلاف نعرے لگائے ۔
یومِ یکجہتی کشمیر ریلی کی قیادت اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سعدیہ خلیل اور لیکچرار نائلہ رفیق نے کی۔
جبکہ قائم مقام رجسٹرارپروفیسر ڈاکٹر زرینہ علی نے میں یومِ یکجہتی کشمیر ریلی کے موقع پر اپنے پیغام میں کہا کہ ہم کشمیر کے مسلمانوں کے حق خودارادیت اور ان کے پرامن رہنے کے حق کی جدوجہد میں ان کے ساتھ کھڑے ہیں۔
ہم بحیثیت پاکستانی قوم بھارتی مسلح افواج کی طرف سے کی جانے والی بربریت کی مذمت کرتے ہیں اور مقبوضہ کشمیر میں کشمیری مسلمانوں پر ہونے والے ظلم و تشدد کو فوری طور پر بند کرنے کا مطالبہ کرتے ہیں۔
اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سعدیہ خلیل نے طلبہ سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ کشمیر پاکستان کی شہ رگ ہے۔
انہوں نےمزید کہا کہ بھارتی افواج اب بھی مسلسل مقبوضہ کشمیر میں مسلمانوں کو ظلم وجبر کا نشانہ بنارہی ہے۔
انسانی حقوق کی مسلسل بے دریغ پامالیاں جاری ہیں اور ہم پاکستانی کشمیر کی آزادی تک جدوجہد جاری رکھیں گے۔
ریلی میں اساتذہ اور طلبہ کی بڑی تعداد نے کشمیریوں کی حمایت میں بینرز اُٹھا رکھے تھے جن پر کشمیر میں تشدد کے خاتمے اور کشمیری عوام کے حقوق کے تحفظ کا مطالبہ کیا گیا ہے۔
ریلی میں شریک طلبہ ۔کشمیرہماری شہ رگ ہے، کشمیر بنے گا پاکستان، پاکستان ذندہ باد ،پاک فوج زندہ باد کے نعرے لگا تے رہے۔
ریلی جامعہ اردو کی بی ایس سی بلاک پر اختتام پزیر ہوئی ۔
