CENTRAL GAZA: 187,000 children under the age of ten were administered Polio drops here by WHO in the first phase of large-scale vaccination campaign that was carried out successfully from 1st to 3rd September, 2024.

Taking to the X (Twitter) WHO Chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated: “We are grateful for the dedication of all the families, health workers and vaccinators who made this part of the campaign a success despite the dire conditions in the Gaza Strip.”
