RAWALPINDI: Commander Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan General John Nicholson on Saturday called on Army Chief General Raheel Sharif at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters of regional security and mutual interest including border management mechanism along Pak-Afghanistan border came under discussion during the meeting.

The meetings also focused on checking cross-border movement of terrorists. The COAS reiterated Pakistan’s support to the US-Afghan forces.
