ISLAMABAD: Yousuf Raza Gilani has resigned as Senate’s Leader of the Opposition on Monday (31st of January, 2022) following passage of SBP (Amendment) Bill on Friday which was passed as eight members (including him) opted to abstain quoting flimsy causes. 

Speaking at the Senate session today he told that he had submitted his resignation to the PPP-P leadership.

Gilani further insinuated that “some turncoats” were were accusing him of helping the government.
