ISLAMABAD: A hackathon was held here to ponder over the Glacial Lake Outburst Floods (GLOFs) project that is being implemented by the UNDP in partnership with the Ministry of Climate Change and supported by the Green Climate Fund.

It had been noted that out of 13,032 glaciers found in the Karakoram, Hindu Kush and Himalayan ranges, ten thousand are receding.
