KARACHI: Pak Rupee that further depreciated (9.61%) on Thursday (26th of Jan 2023) against the US $ was available in the interbank market for Rs. 255.43.

Nevertheless, the sellers demanded Rs. 262 per dollar. Gold price also augmented and a tola was being sold for Rs. 195,500.

Contrary to what Nawaz Sharif’s relative was claiming, this development was inevitable following the removal of the price cap.
