KARACHI: Former Karachi Mayor and Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) leader Mustafa Kamal on Thursday said if the allegations on Muttahida Qoumi Movement (MQM) about getting funds from RAW are correct, the government should ban the party.
“I request the government of Pakistan to ban the MQM in light of allegations of collaboration with Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW),” Kamal said, adding that if these allegations against such leaders and politicians associating with foreign agencies are even 5 per cent correct, the government should ban these parties.
The PSP leader said if the government believes that there is no truth in these allegations, the PSP leaders won’t speak about this matter.
“The government should either ban the party or make it clear that we are liars and file cases against us and ban us,” he said.
