Govt believes in investing on human development: Ali Muhammad

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan Tuesday said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government believed in investing on human development.

Talking to a private news channel he said, human development was the top priority of the government of PTI, adding it was a sensitive matter and opposition should stop the politics of point scoring and they should focus to improve the standard of common people.

While criticizing the previous governments, he said the present government was facing issues created by their wrong policies.

“We have lost our way to development and prosperity in the era of previous governments because no attention was paid to health sector in the country”, he added.

PTI govt will increase funds and human resources to bring improvements in health care, he said, adding, no compromise would be made on the healthcare system and it would be upgraded in line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Minister said that PTI led government was determined to bring about promised reforms in the health sector, adding that they were striving hard to improve the health facilities for the common people.

To another question regarding the problems of Karachi, he said Prime minister Imran Khan recently announced a huge welfare package for the people of Sindh and it was the commitment of the government to pay equal attention to all provinces with all basic needs.

He also mentioned that PTI government would work collectively with Sindh government for the welfare of masses.
