Govt. of Pakistan notifies transfers and postings

ISLAMABAD: Govt. of Pakistan has today notified transfers and postings of ten officers.

1) Dr. Tanvir Ahmad Qureshi, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, presently awaiting posting in Establishment Division, is promoted to BS-22, in that Service, as Secretary to the Government or Pakistan, with immediate effect. On promotion. Dr. Tanvir Ahmad Qureshi is transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Commerce Division, with immediate effect and until further orders.

2) Capt. (Retd.) Javed Akbar, a BS-21officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, presently posted as Additional Secretary, Commerce Division, is promoted to BS-22, in that Service, as Secretary to the Government of Pakistan, with immediate effect. On promotion, Capt. (Retd.) Javed Akbar is transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Cabinet Division, with immediate effect and until further orders.

3) Dr. Akhtar Nazir, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, presently posted as Secretary, Election Commission of Pakistan,is promoted to BS-22, in that Service, as Secretory to the Government of Pakistan, with immediate effect. On promotion, Dr. Akhtar Nazir will remain posted as Secretary, Election Commission of Pakistan, with immediate effect and until further orders.

4) Capt. (Retd.) Munir Azam, BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, presently posted as Additional Secretary, Power Division, is promoted to BS-22, in that Service, as Secretary to the Government of Pakistan, with immediate effect. On promotion, Capt. (Retd.) Munir Azam is transferred and posted as Special Secretary. Power Division, with immediate effect and until further orders.

5) Muhammad Sualeh Ahmed Faruqui, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, presently posted as Secretary, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan under Commerce Division, is promoted to BS-22, in that Service, as Secretary to the Government of Pakistan, with immediate effect. On promotion, Muhammad Sualeh Ahmed Faruqui is transferred and posted as Special Secretary. Communications Division, with immediate effect and until further orders.

6) Mathar Niaz Rana, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, presently posted as Chief Secretary, Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, under Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Division, is promoted to BS-22 , in that Service, as Secretary to the Government of Pakistan, with immediate effect. On promotion, Mathar Niaz Rana will remain posted as Chief Secretary, Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, under Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Division, by upgrading the post of Chief Secretary from US-21 to BS-22, as personal to him, with immediate effect and until further orders.

7) Mrs. Farah Hamid Khan, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, presently posted as Director General, National Institute of Management , Peshawar under National School of Public Policy (NSPP), is promoted to BS-22 , in that Service, as Secretary to the Government of Pakistan, with immediate effect. On promotion, Mrs. Farah Hamid Khan will remain posted as Director General, National Institute of Management (NIM), Peshawar under National School of Public Policy, by upgrading the post of Director General from BS-21 to BS-22 , as personal to her, with immediate effect and until further orders.

8) Ms. Humaira Ahmed, a BS-2 1 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, presently posted as Secretary, Federal Public Service Commission, under Section IO of the Civil Servants Act. 1973, is promoted to BS-22, in that Service, as Secretary to the Government of Pakistan, with immediate effect. On promotion, Ms. Humaira Ahmed will remain posted as Secretary, Federal Public Service Commission, with immediate effect and until further orders.

9) Capt. (Retd.) Sikandar Qayyum, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, presently posted as Chairman, National Highway Authority, under Communications Division, under Section 10 of the Civil Servants Act. 1973, is promoted to BS-22, in that Service, as Secretary to the Government of Pakistan, with immediate effect. On promotion, Capt. (Retd.) Sikandar Qayyum will remain posted as Chairman, National Highway Authority, under Communications Division, with immediate effect and until further orders.

10) Shoukat Ali, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, presently posted under Government of the Punjab, is promoted to BS-22, in that Service, as Secretary to the Government of Pakistan. The services of Shoukat Ali will remain at the disposal of Government of the Punjab and will be promoted with effect from 27-07-2020, i .e. the date of superannuation of Muhammad llyas (PAS/BS-22), presently al the disposal of Government of the Punjab and until further orders.
