Govt to provide relief to the masses in fiscal budget 2016-17




ISLAMABAD: Marvi Memon, the Chairperson of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) said on Friday that the government is committed to provide relief to the masses in fiscal budget 2016-17, which would be people-friendly.

In an interview, Marvi said that the international community had acknowledged economic stability and growth in Pakistan.

“The national economy was further strengthened due to prudent policies of PML-N government,” she said adding that ratio of inflation had decreased in the country.

She said the government is focusing on development projects in all sectors including education, health, agriculture and energy sectors.

Marvi further said due to the effective measures taken by the incumbent government for country’s economy, investors from different countries are showing the keen interest in investing in Pakistan.
