Govt to overcome economic challenges soon: Firdous

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan has said the incumbent government will soon overcome economic challenges through its reform programme.

SAPM said the government struck an agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to improve the economic condition of the country and for the benefit of people.

She said the country faces economic crisis owing to previous rulers’ mismanagement and corrupt practices.

She said “Ehsas Programme” will be expanded and its budget will be enhanced from Rs100 billion to Rs180 billion.
