Gunmen killed, after shooting a policeman dead and injuring other, on Champs Elysee

PARIS: At least two attackers fired at policemen here on Avenue des Champs Elysees killing an officer. The shooter has been shot dead.

Police is not certain yet whether it was a failed attempt of robbery or an act of terrorism.

Sources privy to the happening said that a man came out of a car and started indiscriminate firing with a Kalashnikov rifle.
