GWADAR: Members of the Baloch Raji Muchi (Baloch National Gathering) attacked personnel of security forces here on Monday (29th July, 2024), killed 30-year-old Sepoy Shabbir Baloch (hailing from Sibi) and injured 16 other soldiers (including an official).

It is pertinent to mention here that on Sunday (28th July, 2024) too three people lost their lives and many got wounded when supporters of Balochistan Yakjehti Committee (BYC) clashed with the security personnel in different locales of the province.

Authorities attempted to stop the BYC members from converging at the Marine Drive here to participate in the Baloch Raji Muchi, an enormous crowd, traversing the barriers, reached the point of rendezvous. In order to disperse them, authorities lobbed teargas shells and took twenty participants into custody.
