MASSACHUSETTS: While Trump revoked Harvard’s ability to enrol international students, District Court Judge Allison Burroughs granted the Ivy League School’s request for a temporary restraining order on Friday (23rd May, 2025).
Harvard’s lawyer suing Trump maintained that his administration’s move was a blatant violation of the 1st Amendment, Due Process Clause and the Administrative Procedures Act. University President Alan Garber, in a message to the Harvard community condemned Trump Administration’s “unlawful and unwarranted action”.
