ISLAMABAD: While pondering over the matter of ‘missing’ persons here on Friday (2nd August, 2024), the Federal Cabinet with PM in the chair, has approved a support package of Rs. 500,000/- for the heirs of those who remained untraceable for last five years.

It has also been decided that the paid money could not be reclaimed by the government after the missing person reunites with the family. NADRA will handle the issues of bank accounts and inheritance. On the basis of first come first served 1000 families will be provided the grant.
