Hina Rabbani denies receiving NAB summon in asset case

MULTAN: Former foreign minister and PPP MNA Hina Rabbani Khar has refuted reports that the NAB had summoned her along with her father in connection with a probe into an assets beyond means case.

In a statement, she said they will appear before the bureau whenever they are summoned.

Hina Rabbani was reportedly summoned today in pursuance of a complaint against her for allegedly amassing illegal assets, committing a fraud and misusing her powers during her stint as minister.

The bureau obtained property details of the PPP leader from Multan Revenue Department ahead of her appearance.
