KARACHI: Namaz-e-Janaza at Sultan Masjid has become a symbol of prestige manifesting that the dead one was someone important. Those who come to offer the funeral prayers too descend from luxurious vehicles.
Mansoor Khan’s Namaz-e-Janaza was also offered at Sultan Masjid, but no celebrity was seen there except Hockey star Salahuddin and Cricket star Shahid Afridi (whose foundation had also offered support to the hockey legend when he was struggling for his life) were seen there along with MQM-P’s Amir Khan.
