IK grilled by FIA: Inciting people for mutiny

RAWALPINDI: FIA Cybercrime Wing’s three personnel grilled Imran Khan for 45 minutes at Adiala Jail here on Saturday (14th September, 2024) apropos a threatening posting a post on X. F

FIA personnel will recommence the interrogation to figure out who was responsible for managing his social media accounts.

It may be recalled that a case had been registered and probe commenced against IK for taking to the X to incite people to mutiny here on 13th September.

IK, who has been accused of encouraging the masses to come to the streets to protect their freedom, held: “Our movement is a jihad for democracy… If you do not offer sacrifices, you and your future generations will remain enslaved

“This is not the first time in the history of this country that one individual has put the entire nation at stake to protect his hold on power,” IK wrote on X.

According to IK the country was once again being held hostage by a small powerful elite that controls all resources and influence: “This mafia, devoid of morals, considers itself above the Constitution and the law. This small group, this powerful elite, has enslaved this country!”

IK accused CJP Qazi Faez Isa of protecting those who had rigged elections and violated the Constitution: “Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa protected those who targeted us!”

Khan’s message also highlighted specific government figures, whom he blames for targeting PTI and its leaders, including Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Judge Humayun Dilawar.

IK, pointing towards the death in custody of PTI activist Zille Shah, accused Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi of overseeing brutal actions against PTI supporters: “Mohsin Naqvi inflicted tremendous brutality on us. Zille Shah was tortured to death by the police, and his body was thrown by the roadside!”

Imran Khan further alleged that Judge Humayun Dilawar had been “gifted land worth billions” as a reward for his actions: “Because of Humayun Dilawar, Bushra Bibi and I are illegally imprisoned today“.
