IMF has confirmed on Thursday that its Board would discuss the $7 billion EFF to Pakistan on Wednesday (25th September, 2024).

IMF spokesperson Julie Kozack said that the Fund had reached a staff-level agreement with Pakistan on the EFF in July.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan was expecting the 37-month deal in the month of August.
