“It’s a very important event for Pakistan”, PCB chairman on PSL final

DUBAI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar Khan says the final of Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Lahore is going to be a very important event for Pakistan.

“Successful hosting of the PSL final in Lahore will send a positive message to the international cricketing community,” Khan told journalists Tuesday.

“It will send a message to all that the conditions are better here and security can be provided,” he added.

PCB chief was hopeful that the successful final of the cricket league will bring back international cricket to Pakistan.

The PCB chairman said all stakeholders, including security and government agencies, are working towards the goal of making the final a possibility.

When asked about security arrangements for foreign player who are willing to travel to Lahore for the final, Shaharyar said: “VVIP security will be provided to all foreign players.”
