Imran Khan addresses party workers

ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan, former PM Pakistan, addressed his party workers via video link on Thursday (4th of August, 2022) at F9 Park. 

According to Imran Khan the ECP deciphered  the Foreign Funding case wrongly believing that  donations collected from overseas Pakistanis was Foreign Funding.

He pointed out that till 2012 receiving money from a foreign company was allowed and it was termed illegal in 2017.

PTI Chief and former PM Imran Khan took to the Twitter Thursday (4th of August, 2022) to state: “Today I am calling all our people to come out in peaceful public protest against CEC & ECP in F9 Park at 6 pm. I will be addressing the gathering between 7:00 – 7:30 pm.”

Earlier, Following his instructions lawmakers of PTI, holding placards attempted to enter the Red Zone to register their protest before ECP Head Quarters against CEC Sikandar Sultan Raja.

They reached ECP Head Quarters and after submitting a Memorandum against CEC Sikandar Sultan Raja (accusing him of playing an unconstitutional, undemocratic and biased role) when activists tried to cross the barriers Police conveniently dispersed them.
