ISLAMABAD: Federal Parliamentary Secretary for National History and Literary Heritage Division Ghazala Saifi Saturday termed the release of Indian pilot as a moral victory of Pakistan over India.
In an interview, she said Pakistan had given a very responsible response to India and Pakistan had shown a good will gesture which was also appreciated by International community.
Pakistan had taken all possible steps to maintain peace in the region, she added.
She further explained , all political parties, forces and institutions were on the same page in Pakistan, adding, “We have displayed our unity against India aggression.”
Pakistan had given a befitting response to Indian aggression and conveyed a strong message to India that any aggression against the integrity and sovereignty of the country would never be compromised, she said.
However, she said now India must realize that it was easy to initiate war but it was difficult to end it.
Ghazala Saifi said innocent civilians suffer the most in war and any misadventure between nuclear states could lead towards massive catastrophe.
She said that it was an opportunity for India to accept Pakistan’s offer of dialogue and play positive role for peace, adding, International community should also acknowledge Pakistan’s stance on regional peace.
The Secretary said, Pakistan’s political and military leadership was behaving in a very mature manner.
Pakistan had clearly given message that our security forces were capable enough to protect its boundaries against any aggression, she added.
She reiterated that national defence, solidarity and sovereignty would be upheld at every cost.
The PTI government was working towards peace and economic stability in country , she stressed adding that they wanted to fix the economy and nip corruption from the bud.
