Inflated Power Bills Issue Pondered Upon

ISLAMABAD: Federal Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Murtaza Solangi, taking to the Twitter claimed that the Ministry of Energy had finalized proposals on the issue of Inflated Electricity Bills.

Solangi further informed that the same proposals would be tabled before the cabinet on Tuesday (29th of August, 2023) that would take the final decision.

He pointed out that only the Cabinet was authorized to approve the said proposals.

Meanwhile, JI has called for a country-wide strike against inflated bills, free provision of power to some privileged, removal of taxes from the bills and measures taken against those using solar panels.
