Information Minister comments on Karbala sacrifices!

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Friday said that Youm-e-Ashur reminded us of the great sacrifices of the martyrs of Karbala and taught that the determination could not be undermined by the force the strength of the enemies.
In his message on the occasion of Youm-e-Ashur, the Information Minister said that the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (May Allah be Pleased with Him) and his companions had given a new life to the faith and Islam.
Imam Hussain (R.A) had even sacrificed his own children for upholding the supremacy of truth and Islam and to prove that Allah’s dignity was above all.
The minister said that the martyrs of Karbala had also given a great lesson to fight against the oppression and stand firmly for the supremacy of principles.
The minister said all of the Muslims shared the grief of Imam Hussain (R.A) and Muslim unity and brotherhood was, in fact, the defeat of the evil forces. By sacrificing his life, Imam Hussain (R.A) had also taught us not to surrender before the falsehood and evil.
The minister said the great family of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) had proved that love for Allah deserved to sacrifice everything for his religion.
He also urged the Muslims to keep striving for supremacy of Islamic principles by adhering to the teachings of Islam, Imam Hussain (R.A) and Ahl-e-Bait.
