Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan meets Governor & CJ Sindh in Karachi

KARACHI: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan who arrived here today (Sunday) afternoon met the Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan at Governor House. The two discussed the prevailing law and order situation in the Metropolis and stated that the Karachi Operation – that was launched in September 2013 – would continue till the death of the last terrorist. 

Later the Interior Minister and the Governor   called on Sindh High Court Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah at his residence. 

Chief Justice was informed about the efforts made towards the recovery of his son who was abducted from the parking lot of Agha’s Super Market as he emerged after shopping.

Following that the duo visited the slain qawwal Amjad Sabri’s house located at Liaquatabad No.4 at around 5.20 PM to offer condolence to the bereaved family. Interior Minister and the Governor expressed their resolve to bring the murderers of Amjad Sabri to book.

Separately, Chairman Senate Raza Rabbani and Minister of Information Pervez Rasheed also visited Amjad Sabri’s place and reiterated that the culprits would be brought to the book very soon.
