Intizar Ahmed Murder: JIT recommends criminal proceedings against all policemen involved!

KARACHI: JIT, failing to find any motive behind Intizar Hussain’s murder, has recommended criminal proceedings against the eight ACLC cops involved.

“JIT is of the opinion that the incident occurred due to stopping of Intizar’s car in a highly unprofessional manner by ACLC team dressed in plainclothes, who were riding unmarked vehicles without any police identification”, JIT maintained!

They, terming the incident sheer non-professionalism on the part of ACLC personnel, recommended designing of SOPs, so that similar mishap could be avoided in future.

Readers may recall that Intezar was studying in Malaysia and came to Karachi during the break.  On 13th of January this year, when he was travelling in his car with a lady in DHA area, plainclothesmen signaled him to stop. When Intezar Hussain did not stop he was gunned down. His friend bolted from the scene of crime.
