Int’l Women’s Day: Two Karachiites made it big in Travel Industry

KARACHI: Karachiites, Sarah Bano and Noreen Ghani, have built SHE Travels Pakistan as a platform catering to female voyagers.

Coinciding with the International Women’s Day  SHE Travels Pakistan inaugurated a new office here on 8th of March, 2020. Aficionados belonging to numerous fields converged at the event from all over the Metropolis. Conspicuous among others there were  Birgit Nicole Kuhlmann – the Deputy Head of Mission at German Consulate, Herian Yuliyansyah from the Indonesian Consulate and Travelographer Muhammad Hanif Bhatti.

Participants maintained that supporting women whenever and wherever possible was vital for society’s growth. Sarah Bano, the founder of SHE Travels Pakistan, revealed that they had taken several groups of women to travel all across the country – Karachi to Khyber & Chaman to Hunza. The company is run by women, to arrange travel facilities for women and families.

The co-founder of SHE Travels Pakistan, Noreen Ghani, said that until women came forward to help each other, none would be able to progress. It is pertinent to mention here that the duo have been handling groups of women voyagers on national and international itineraries since 2014.
