Iran to prosecute Saudi Embassy attackers

TEHRAN: Irani President Hassan Rouhani has asked judiciary to immediately persecute the Saudi Embassy attackers here.

Saudi diplomatic missions in the Capital and Mashhad were attacked by protesters who were getting their feelings registered against execution of Shiite cleric.

Talking to IRNA Rouhani held: “By punishing the attackers and those who orchestrated this obvious offense, we should put an end once and forever to such damage and insults to Iran’s dignity and national security”.

It may be recalled that Rouhani was seeking to end Iran’s isolation after much trumpeted nuclear deal with the West in July.
