KUWAIT CITY: As Pentagon’s Operation Epic Fury against Iran is spreading all over ME, Porte Parole of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defence took to the X to inform that on Sunday (1st March, 2026) 3U.S. F-15E Strike Eagles crashed here.
IRNA News Agency took to the X to state: “Media are reporting that Iran has successfully shot down three American fighter jets near the border with Kuwait. CNN has confirmed the news, citing Kuwaiti officials”.
According to Centcom: “Three U.S. F-15E Strike Eagles flying in support of Operation Epic Fury went down over Kuwait due to an apparent friendly fire incident. During active combat—that included attacks from Iranian aircraft, ballistic missiles, and drones — the U.S. Air Force fighter jets were mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses.
“All six aircrew ejected safely, have been safely recovered, and are in stable condition. Kuwait has acknowledged this incident, and we are grateful for the efforts of the Kuwaiti defense forces and their support in this ongoing operation. The cause of the incident is under investigation.”
Times of Iran News stated on X: “Last night, the power of Iran was demonstrated…Israel was attacked with missiles last night, and Israel’s defense system proved useless.
It may be recalled that Iran’s 86-year-old supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei – the man who controlled all of country (including military, judiciary, political & religious institutions) for 37 years – had been neutralised in his office (along with his family members, army chief Abdul Rahim Mousavi, defence minister Aziz Nasirzadeh and) 40 other leaders, by the American-Israeli bombing on 28th Feb, 2026.
President of Russia Vladimir Putin expresses his condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian: “Please accept my deepest condolences on the assassination of the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and his family members, committed in cynical violation of all norms of human morality and international law.
