Iran will not bow its head to US pressure!

TEHRAN: President Masoud Pezeshkian, while addressing the nation by means of State TV, has asserted that Iran would not bow its head despite all the problems that USA and other world powers were creating, amid nuclear talks.

United States special envoy to the Middle East & for peace missions, Steve Witkoff told that Trump was curious why Iran had not capitulated under the pressure and sea power.

He was retaliating to Trump’s statement about a limited strike on Iran. US has deployed aircraft carrier and other hardware in order to pressure Iran to sign a deal apropos curbing its nuclear program. The comments came after US President Donald Trump insinuated that he was considering a limited strike on Iran after ordering a major naval build-up in the Middle East.

USA and Iran, following Geneva parleys, had agreed to submit drafts of a potential agreement, which according to Iranian FM Abbas Araghchi would be ready in a couple of days, and after final confirmation by top leadership would be given Steve Witkoff.

Araghchi disclosed that USA had not asked Tehran to end its nuclear enrichment program. While talkingMedia, he said: “We have not offered any suspension, and the US side has not asked for zero enrichment. What we are now talking about is how to make sure that Iran’s nuclear programme, including enrichment, is peaceful and would remain peaceful forever.”

Students Rise Again: Meanwhile, pupils of Tehran’s Sharif University of Technology marched on the campus, honouring the 6000 protesters who were gunned down during recent protests. They were confronted by Pro-Govt students. Sit-in and rally were reported from a couple of other unversities.

Profundity of American involvement could be gauged by the fact that US President Donald Trump, while addressing the rioters in Iran, had taken to his Social Media Platform on 13th January, to state: “Iranian Patriots, keep protesting – take over your institutions!!! Save the names of the killers and abusers. They will pay a big price. I have cancelled all meetings with Iranian Officials until the senseless killing of protesters stops. Help is on its way!”
