TEHRAN: While Israel, that retaliated to the 1st October missile attack by Iran, says it successfully carried out precise strikes on military targets from 10.30pm to 6.30 am (GMT) 25th/26th October, 2024, videos circulating online show Irani Air Defence system thwarting the bombing.

According to the state news agency IRNA, four people were killed, all with the military air defence. State TV of Iran, commenting on the multiple explosions over several hours here and nearby military bases, stated: “The loud blasts heard around Tehran were related to the activation of the air defence system against the actions of the Zionist regime (Israel) which attacked three locations outside Tehran”.

United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the military targeting of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

It is pertinent to mention here that this is the first time Israel claimed responsibility for a strike on Iran that attacked Jerusalem (directly for the first time) by lobbing 180 ballistic missiles in response to the deaths of Haniyeh (who was its guest) and Nasrallah.
