Isloo Dharna against change in Khatm-e-Nabuwwat oath in Elections Act enters 10th day

ISLAMABAD: After protesters (belonging to TLY & ST) clashed with LEA personnel near F-8 barrier here at 4am today, police registered second case against them.

Rangers were deployed after the violent incident at the site. In order to stop protesters from entering the city, Police has resorted to add more containers to the present ones, making movement more and more difficult for office goers and students.

It is pertinent to mention here that a sit-in by a couple of thousand members of TLY and ST at Faizabad Interchange for the last ten days now has disrupted the lives of most of the populace.

IHC had earlier ordered the dharna participants to end their sit-in. Local administration too had warned them of severe retaliation.
