ISLAMABAD: Italian Envoy H.E. Andreas Ferrarese called on Punjab Caretaker Minister Mohsin Naqvi at Punjab House here on Sunday (15th of October, 2023).
During the rendezvous the two exchanged notes on the ways to augment cooperation in the domain of culture, tourism and trade.
They pondered over exchanging an enormous number of cultural and trade delegations.
H.E. Andreas Ferrarese assured that he would continue supporting Pakistan for acquiring extension in the GSP+ status.
CM Punjab, thanking H.E. for Italy’s support, stated: “Pakistan and Italy are friendly countries and time has arrived to transform this friendship into a fruitful economic relationship.”
CM Naqvi mused that cultural and trade sectors were interlinked and held: “We welcome the Italian cooperation for imparting training to police liaison officers!”
CM maintained that a proactive role by the Trade Commission was significant for enhancing trade along with facilitating provision of relevant visas.
Urging the Italian investors to visit the province, CM told: “We are launching a one-window operation for the promotion of investment in Punjab.”
Italian Envoy H.E. Andreas Ferrarese, informing about the launching of work by Trade Commission, said: “We are taking measures to provide ease in acquiring work visas.”
