KARACHI: Italian Ambassador H.E. Andreas Ferrarese, who is presently in the Port City, visited the Mazar of Quaid-e-Azam to pay tribute to the Founder of Pakistan. H.E., who was accompanied by the Consul General Danilo Giurdanella, laid a floral wreath at the mausoleum.
While writing on the Visitor’s Diary, H. E. stated that it was a privilege to visit the tomb of the Father of Nation, who was not only a visionary leader but also a great statesman, who envisioned a prosperous and progressive Pakistan and is an inspiration for not only the youth but also many around the world.
KARACHI: Epouses of the Ambassador and CG, Madames Albana Planeja and Antonella Bartolomucci were also present on the occasion.

The Ambassador and Consul General also visited the old historical places in Karachi such as the TDF Ghar, Empress Market, Karachi Parsi Institute, People’s Square, Flag Staff House and Frere Hall with Super Savari Express.
The visitors were amazed at the Port City’s rich history and tradition. They observed that Karachi has always been an important economic hub for trade and commerce even before independence but social fabric of the city is rich with history, multi-ethnicity and multi-culturalism.
The Ambassador and Consul General are keen to promote trade and investment, besides cultural exchanges, which are already quite strong. Italy is keen to collaborate in Archaeology, Culture, Restoration and development of public spaces.
Terming his visit to the Metropolis a wonderful experience, H. E. thanked the office of Commissioner Karachi, Sindh Police and other public offices.
