PARIS: While Alba/Piedmont-based Mondo is supplying 2024 Summer Olympics with custom purple track (instead of conventional terracotta), another Italian company Myrtha is providing the competition and warm-up pools (at La Défense Arena and the Olympic Aquatic Centre).

Myrtha Pools, informing that the partnership had been formalized by Tony Estanguet – President of Paris 2024, and Roberto Colletto – CEO of Myrtha Pools, stated: “It’s the first time in the history of the Olympic and Paralympic Games that a world leader in aquatic solutions is involved at this level, in the greatest sporting event on the planet”.

Paris Olympics 2024 will be featuring vibrant purple Mondotrack FB at the iconic Stade de France that will host 46 of 48 athletics events: “We have changed the design of the cells on the lower layer of the track compared to the one used in Tokyo,” briefed Maurizio Stroppiana, VP, sports division.
It is pertinent to mention here that Mondo had earlier too renovated the Stade de France with its latest track surface twice.
