Alamgir Khan Tareen commits suicide

 LAHORE: 62-year-old Alamgir Khan Tareen, owner of PSL T20 franchise cricket team Multan Sultans, who happens to be the brother of Sugar Baron Jahangir Khan Tareen (famous for airlifting politicians for PTI) shot himself fatally in the head here in his Gulberg apartment where he used to live alone on Thursday (6th of July, 2023).

According to details Alamgir Khan Tareen by means of a handwritten suicide note has informed that he was killing himself due to a disease he was suffering from.

His body has been sent to hospital for autopsy.

It is pertinent to mention here that single Alamgir Khan Tareen was scheduled to marry in the month of December, 2023.

For the last 23 years Alamgir Khan Tareen had been looking after the affairs of Shamim and Company (Pvt) Ltd (bottlers of PepsiCo).
