Jinnah movie director working on another project in Pakistan

KARACHI: Renowned UK-based independent filmmaker Jameel Dehlavi, who directed famous movie Jinnah, is once again working on another project in Pakistan.

Dehlavi, who has given some great movies to the film lovers, is now set to grace the Pakistani film industry next year with his new venture.

According to details, Jameel Dehlavi is in Pakistan these days and it is being said that he has started finalizing the cast for his movie. The script was finalized last month.

Media reports suggest that the project of esteemed director is likely to be completed next year and the movie would hit the big screen in March 2020.

Jameel Dehlavi has many acclaimed movies to his credit that include Seven Lucky Gods, Infinite Justice, and Godforsaken.

His last project in Pakistan was Jinnah that was a biographical film based on the life of the founder and first Governor General of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

The film was liked by the Pakistani audience, but unfortunately, it did not do much on the box office. However, fans seemed to have liked the direction, and of course, the acing by Christopher Lee. Here are few comments by the fans of Jinnah (movie).
