ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) has announced to carry out protest against the incumbent Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government on October 27.
“JUI-F) will march towards the federal capital on October 27. The sit-in protest will be given at Islamabad’s D-Chowk,” said JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman during a press conference today.
Maulana said that the anti-government protest will not end until his party sends the Imran Khan-led government packing.
“We have contacted every opposition leader and we are making this decision in full confidence. It is our top priority to get rid of this [PTI] government,” he said, adding that they have already planned further action if the government tries to create hurdles against their march.
The JUI-F chief further said that they will express solidarity with the people of Kashmir on October 27.
Answering a question, Maulana Fazl said that the protest will be peaceful as he himself and his party respects the dignity of the state institutions.
