Jundullah Chief killed by Rangers in Baluchistan!

KARACHI: Rangers have claimed to have killed banned militant outfit Jundullah chief Saqib alias Arif alias Anjum in an encounter Thursday night  in Hub area of Baluchistan.

According to Rangers spokesman, following a lead from intelligence agencies,  anti-terrorist force raided a hideout in Hub and shot Saqib dead in the resulting encounter. He was also nominated deputy chief of Talibaan Sindh.

Saqib, the spokesman said, was involved in an attack on the then Corps Commander Karachi’s vehicle, suicide assault on MMA and JUI-F chief Fazal-ur-Rahman in Quetta, killing of Zardari’s chief security officer  and attacks on  church and members of minorities.

Saqib, according to Rangers, was using his house as an IED factory. They have also claimed to have recovered explosives and weapons from there.
